Designated agent
What to include
A valid notice must include all of the following so we can act on it:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (a URL, a title, or another clear reference).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including enough detail (a screenshot, a URL, or a description) for us to find it.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Counter notices
If you believe a notice was filed in error, you may send a counter notice to dmca@trypim.com with the items required by 17 U.S.C. Sec. 512(g)(3).
Misuse
Under 17 U.S.C. Sec. 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. File only notices you reasonably believe are valid.
